I have thought about this a lot this week. I too would like to be well rounded in many things. But there are only a handfull of things I really enjoy and am really good at. Why not stick with those things. I am not a gardener. I kill everything I try to grow, even indoor plants. So why kill myself trying. There are just some things I think we fret over way too much. We all do what we can and leave it at that. My best friend recently said to me. "We are all just trying our best to be good women and moms we know how." Easy, no judgements.

You are rockin' those jeans! I love it!

I'm afraid to rock some skinny jeans but you have inspired me to go out and get a pair.

Oh goodness, I'm sorry you had so much trouble with it! (goodness knows I've had THOSE projects!) But your end result is gorgeous!! Maybe I'll have to go back and make sure my tutorial is a little more clear! :o)

BTW baby's bellybutton - too cute! I love a chubby baby belly (like my 1-year old's :) )

the sweetest little skirt and bellybutton. Let me give you a hint for the next skirt. If your machine has a zigzag stitch set it up for the widest ant then zigzag over a fine piece of string or yarn, then either 1..Mark 4 equal points on the skirt (if it is large) and twist the string in a figure 8 around a pin at each point and pull the string to gather the first part, anchor it and then the second till the thing is the desired size. or 2..for a baby I would just anchor one end and gather the whole thing, that means never having to say "i broke it"
